Just a reminder that this weekend there are two x-countries on the local scene.
On Saturday December 1st at Wollaton Park it is the third race in the North Midlands League. The action for the ladies, starts at 1.25 over 6k while the men’s race is at 1.55 over a 10k course. The courses will be similar to those being used in next January for the County Championship, so if you wish to run on Saturday just turn up with your club vest.
BDL X-Country
This Sunday morning December 2nd is the third race in the series at Trent Meadows Long Eaton, starting at 11am, over a four and a half mile course. After the excellent performance in the last race, it would be great to get a good turnout of our runners once again. So if on Sunday morning you are free, put all that hard work in training to good use and come and run for the club.
I have a post code of NG10 2FQ but if you would prefer to car share, meet down at the Leisure Centre at 9.40. The forecast for Sunday is looking good and the course should have dried out from all the recent rain.
The closing date for entries for the County X-country Championships on January 5th is next Friday December 7th.
