Club champs update

Sunday saw the running of the Sinfin 10k, a lovely race run around Elvaston Castle, and the first RunDerby race in our club champs.

Only five Harriers took part, but significantly Ruth Keeley stretched her lead in the women’s champs and is now top overall, being the only person to have completed all five races in the champs so far this year.  Chris Jordan has improved to fourth in the men’s champs.  Well done also to Nathan Fowles, Jack Dakin and Anne Downes. The full leaderboard can be found on the club champs page.

It is a requirement of the champs this year to take part in a RunDerby race.  If you haven’t entered the Ramathon or the Hairy Helmet relays, the only other opportunity is the Wilne 10k in September.

Also, I’m aware that some people have transferred entries for the Ramathon and other races.  As I take results straight from results pages, please let me know if somebody else is running under your name (particularly if they’re faster!).

I've been running on and off since my thirties. I did the London Marathon in 2002 and swore I'd never do another one but started again in 2013 and went sub-four at Chesterfield in September 2014.
