After the last two races in the Club Champs, it’s all change at the top of the men’s leaderboard.
The Bluebell Fell Race on September 11th has moved Simon Edwards into second place, although he only has the Heanor 10k left to fulfil the qualifying criteria. Six points still separate the first four places in the men’s championship. The women’s standings have not changed. There are no changes to the leading positions, with the only significance being that Rosemary Arris-Pratt has now completed a RunDerby race and so has made her third place in the Ladies’ Champs official. This month has seen an important milestone in the club champs with many runners now having 6 races counting towards their totals.
Sunday’s Ramathon results has not had a significant effect on the top of the champs leaderboard but has enabled a number of runners to tick off the RunDerby category in order to qualify. Check out the results page to see where you are on the leaderboard!
Sunday saw the running of the Sinfin 10k, a lovely race run around Elvaston Castle, and the first RunDerby race in our club champs.
